Twenty-Three

I've come to realise that sometimes, nineteen things mean more than twenty-two. It's been a surreally peaceful day so far. I really couldn't have wanted more.

Hello Mr.Ghosh,

Congratulations on your 'summa cum laude' graduation from NLSIU(INDIA).Your gold medal winning achievement reflects your amazing work ethic as a student of the law and more importantly as a distinction worth to emulate for subsequent batches at NLSIU.

It's fantastic to know that NLSIU is proud to be associated with an student who associated himself with such high standards and I'm sure that this feat of yours will go a long way in making you a successful attorney in the due course of time.

Another curious case of matching frequencies was found in one of the local Indian newspapers recently. If you're lucky you might find it in the 30-08-10 edition of Deccan Herald newspaper which carried a pic of the convocation of NLSIU with yourself and others in it as a part of the gold medalists team. What was striking to me and perhaps abstract to others was the beautiful eye contact of yourself with another lady gold medalist in the pic which made for a spectacular culmination of emotions that summarized the convocation ceremony at NLSIU.Believe me,she'll be definitely missing you and your mesmerizing views when you leave for the U.K.The pic brought fond memories of my visit to the Vatican and the Louvre recently.

Have a great time as a Rhodes scholar at Oxford University and good luck in all your future endeavors.

P.S Good luck to your buddy Mr.V.Rajiv as well.

See you in the British Commonwealth

I'm not sure if there's a point to this story but I'm going to tell it again.

I've been wilfully caught up in the self-defeating quest to get to know myself for years. I've never expected anything beneficial to result from such a quest. I tend to evoke extremely polarised reactions from people I get to know in passing. Consequently, only those people who know me inside-out would honestly claim that I'm a person who's just "alright." It's not a coincidence that the description I've laid out above has no fewer than, title included, eleven references to me (make that twelve). I'm affectionately referred to as "Ego." I think that last statement might have given away a tad too much. Welcome Aboard.
